Do you suffer from knee pain in middle age? A high tibial osteotomy is a joint preservation procedure that will extend the use of your own knee by several years.
Pain relief lasts up to a period of 10 years. Would you not rather have this instead of a knee replacement if you are eligible? See who is eligible for this operation
Who are the right patients for this operation?
- Bow legs with or without knee pain
- Non obese patients
- have a good range of motion,
- The ligaments should be intact.
